Die Entwicklung der Ich-Psychologie gab der Psychoanalyse der Sucht entscheidende Impulse, um für die Behandlung von Suchtkranken mit ihrem Mangel an innerer Struktur therapeutische Zugangswege zu finden. Die Annahme, dass bei Suchtkranken ein so genanntes Normal-Ich nicht vorausgesetzt werden könne, wurde bisher ebenso wenig in Frage gestellt wie die Bereitschaft, Sucht- und Abhängigkeitserkrankungen vorwiegend einem präödipalen Strukturniveau zuzuordnen. Einwände gegen die Diagnostik früher Störungen bleiben dabei ebenso unberücksichtigt wie eine sich gegen ich-psychologische und objektbeziehungstheoretische Ansätze richtende Kritik. Eine kritische Analyse der Annahmen der psychoanalytischen Suchttheorie über die menschliche Natur und die psychische Entwicklung, über seelische Gesundheit und das Verhältnis von Individuum und Gesellschaft offenbart eine vorwiegend konformistische Grundeinstellung. Sie trägt zu der Fehleinschätzung bei, dass der Zustand der Konfliktlosigkeit auf einen Mangel an innerer Struktur hinweist. Übersehen wird die dahinter stehende Angst vor Individuation.
Abstract:
The development of ego psychology has given decisive impulses to the psychoanalysis of addiction to find a therapeutic access for therapy of addicts with ist absence of internal structure. No one has doubted so far the assumption, that for addicts we cannot presuppose a so-called normal ego, and nobody has criticized the readiness to classify addicts a prevalent preoedipal level of structure. Exceptions against the diagnosis of so called early disturbance has been disregarded as well as a critical point of view of ego psychological and object relationship theories. A critical analysis of the assumptions of the psychoanalysis of addiction according to human nature, psychic development, psychic health und the relation between individual und society reveals an accommodated adjustment. This contributes to the as sessment that the status of absence by conflicts directs to the absence of inner structure. In consequence the anxiety for individuation is not noticed.
