Abstract:
The Ψ-organ simulated in SiMA is a highly complex model based on current psychoanalytic knowledge. For this reason, when implemented appropriately – incorporating individual life histories, individual character traits, and various collectives of agents – nothing stands in the way of simulating collective and group-unconscious information as well as individual information. One must simply be aware of the development costs, although tools already in use today – such as ChatGPT, OpenAI, or Google Gemini – can significantly simplify the work. Following years of simulating two functioning Ψ-organs, there is now nothing standing in the way of using simulations in group analysis (according to Foulkes) and analytical psychology (according to Jung), as well as for sociological or economic research. Since, unlike today’s commercially available AI tools, the Ψ-organ modeled here features a sophisticated evaluation system – modeled after that of humans – (affect levels, basic and extended emotions – modeled as extensive scalar units – and feelings – modeled as vectors) – its performance will far surpass that of today’s AI tools with more detailed modeling and programming, as well as extensive data input. However, since the technical implementation requires the extensive, shared knowledge of psychoanalysts, neurologists, and computer scientists – and, above all, a great deal of money – only preliminary versions of the model will be practically feasible in the near future.
