Die Soldatenmatrix ist eine starke emotionale soziale Bewegung einer ganzen Gesellschaft, wenn Frauen, Männer, Kinder und Alte in einen Kampf »eingezogen« werden, wo es vor allem um existenzielles Überleben oder versprochene glory geht. Die emotionalen Grundzüge sind totale Selbstlosigkeit, Hingabe von Leib und Seele, starke Identifikationsbedürfnisse mit der eigenen Gruppe und ebenso starke Hassgefühle dem Feind gegenüber. In jeder Soldatenmatrix werden existentielle Angst, Hass und Versprechen von glory in Aggression fordernde Dynamiken transformiert. Mit der Reduktion von Scham, Schuld und Empathie transformiert der Krieg die Beziehungen innerhalb der Soldatenmatrix gemäß dem Effizienzprinzip, rigiden Rollen und immer stärker werdenden Hierarchien. Die soziale Kommunikation (TV, Netz, Gruppengespräche) wird immer uniformer und militaristischer. In Israel haben im Jahr vor dem Kriegsanfang (u.a.) zwei große Prozesse stattgefunden: Die Gesellschaft hat sich gespalten wegen des Versuchs der Regierung, eine Gesetzesreform einzuführen, die als Gefahr für die Demokratie empfunden wurde, und die israelische Gesellschaft (vor allem die Liberalen) hat geschlafen, als das totalitäre Regime der Hamas ihre Vernichtung geplant und versucht hat, sie auszuführen. Ich werde einige dieser sozialen Prozesse zwischen Massifikation und Zerfall beschreiben sowie auch eine Chronologie der Soldatenmatrix, Fragen über glory und Trauma beschreiben, die Israel wahrscheinlich noch viele Jahre begleiten werden. Im Weiteren denke ich über die Fantasien nach, die an besorgten Vätern haften. Die Familie soll in Zeiten von Vernichtungsängsten von einer primary paternal preoccupation gehütet werden.
Abstract:
The soldier matrix is a strong emotional social movement of an entire society when women, men, children and the elderly are »conscripted« into a fight that is primarily about existential survival or the promise of glory. The emotional characteristics are total selflessness, devotion of body and soul, a strong need to identify with one’s own group and equally strong feelings of hatred towards the enemy. In every soldier’s matrix, existential fear, hatred and promises of glory are transformed into dynamics that promote aggression. By reducing shame, guilt and empathy, war transforms the relationships within the soldier’s matrix into a principle of efficiency, rigid roles and ever-strengthening hierarchies. Social communication (TV, the Internet, group discussions) is becoming more and more uniform and militaristic. In Israel, two major processes (among others) took place in the year before the war began: society was divided over the government’s attempt to introduce a legislative reform that was perceived as a threat to democracy, and society in Israel (especially the liberals) slept while the totalitarian regime of Hamas planned and tried to carry out its destruction. I will describe some of these social processes between massification and disintegration, as well as a chronology of the soldiers’ matrix, questions about glory and trauma that will probably accompany Israel for many years to come. Furthermore, I reflect on the fantasies that cling to concerned fathers. In times of fear of annihilation, the family is to be guarded by a »primary paternal preoccupation«.
